Certified Yoga Course
State Resource Centre, Kerala is an institution working under the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India and managed by General Education Department, Government of Kerala. Secretary, General Education Department, Government of Kerala is the Chairman of SRC. A ‘Governing Body’ comprising of 15 official and non official members governs the functioning of SRC. The ultimate objective of the Centre is to provide academic and technical resource support for comprehensive and sustained Non-formal/Adult/Continuing and Lifelong Education.
Yoga is a spiritual discipline based on an extremely subtle science, which focuses on bringing harmony between mind and body. It is considered as an art and science for healthy living. As per Yogic scriptures, the practice of Yoga leads to the union of individual consciousness with that of the Universal Consciousness, indicating a perfect harmony between the mind and body.
The Certificate in Yoga offered by SRC Community College aims at the skill building of people in yogic practices. It also aims to strengthen the understanding of people on the philosophical background of yogic science.
